Joseph at Studley Green Primary School
On the 17th of July the Year 6 pupils at Studley Green Primary put on 2 performances of Joseph. They worked really hard at something which was a new experience to many of them and the show was a great success. Following on from a brilliant dress rehearsal to the rest of the school on Wednesday, the pupils really pulled out all the stops with 2 performances on Thursday at 2pm and 6.30pm. Throughout the performances there were laughs, applause and tears from friends and family who had come to support the children and our school. The Year 5 pupils were also fantastic, showing the audience to their seats, decorating the hall with Egyptian artwork, making and selling programmes and joining in with the finale. All children involved in the show have worked hard to achieve what was achieved. Well done to everyone. A few children however need a particular mention for their dedication and effort shown by the massive progress they have made in such a short space of time. One of these is Sonny, who found a voice this week as an angry Potiphar! Another is Macauley who has always had a voice but learnt when to use it as the Pharaoh! Antonia, Rebecca and Jasmine have worked hard throughout and in many ways have been the 'glue' of the show in the role of narrators. And finally Amber who was our Joseph, not a star in the making, she's already a star!

Cats at Arrowhead High School, Hartland WI
Arrowhead High School’s “The Broadway Company” performed CATS. The Company is a credited class that teaches all aspects of musical theater. The Company has a long history of putting on wonderful performances. The Broadway Company is self-funded. The Company has inspired alumni to pursue theatrical/music studies at Harvard, NYU, University Of Wisconsin, De Paul University, Johns Hopkins, Roosevelt University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and Columbia Chicago among others.
The production of CATS, which ran from October 15-21, 2007, was our finest effort. We thank the brilliant Mr. Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Of particular note the students designed and built the costuming featured in the performance. They spent many long hours over the summer and fall painting the uni-tards and cutting wigs. Heading the project were Nate Groonwald, Bear Bauer, and Dale Jezwinski.
The set was professionally designed but built by students, parents and cast members.
It was a wonderful experience for Arrowhead High School, the community, cast and crew.
CATS was produced by Catherine Pfeiler, Directed and Choreographed by Scott Michaels, Musical Direction by Nancy Jorgensen, Set Design and Lighting by John R. Dolphin.
Catherine Pfeiler and Nancy Jorgensen are also the directors of The Broadway Company.
